A Frames
Edit SpotAbout
A Frames is a great intermediate wave. Don't need too much thinking. It almost always breaks and depending on the tide you just move a bit more in or out. High, move closer into the island, Low, move to to the peak.
Atmosphere:
Panangalat Island is a seriously beautiful tropical island so if your making the effort get the water taxi to drop you off on the north west protected side for a bit of exploration. Awesome large coral heads grow all the way up to the beach. Directly across from Panangalat is a 5 star surf resort whose guest surf A frames but with Rifles, Karangbat, Four Bobs Kandui and a few others all in a 1 kilometre radius surfers normally head to more deaf defying spots, like rifles and kandui.
Additional Info:
Easy wave to ride. There is a right and left off the peak. The entire reef off the south end of the island where you surf is mainly deep and really flat, no real danger. If your wanting to ride the inside left as it starts wrapping around the island, hit it on hight tide.
