Åsa (Aasa)

Edit Spot
About

The best spot on the central west coast of Sweden. The thing is thet a strong SW-wind is needed. A large jetty gives som protection from the winds when in the water.

Atmosphere:
Camp in Apelviken Varberg. Dont miss Majas. Get drunk and have loads of fun.

Additional Info:
Enter the water inside the harbour hand paddle easily to the line-up. After catching a longer ride dont bother paddeling back out. Instead, paddle to the inside of the old jetty and walk your way back out. Dont park your car in the harbour. Its private property and the locals get really, really upset.

Access

Leave Varberg and head north on the road closest to the coast. When in Åsa take a left in the circle, continue straight on until a sign saying 'Stenudden'. Make a left and drive approx. 3 min on a small forrest-road until arriving at the harbour. The spot is behind the big jetty so its not really visible from the road.
