Berry Bay

About

I think its safe enough for most people. 8 year olds have been swimming when the waves are breaking.

Atmosphere:
Berry Bay has given some good rides and good times.

Additional Info:
Berry Bay is usually alright for rips and undertows but can have a dangerous rip dragging you out and around the rocks about 200 metres west of the break. You can feel it trying to pull you out after a set of waves. 80% of the time you will see a pack of dolphins which is good to get a picture or two of. The waves are pumping pretty much all the time very rare to find it flat.

About 10 minutes drive out of Corny Point and you will reach Berry Bay. You drive via a dirt road and there are a few spots to camp on the cliff. You will know when you're there when you hear the waves breaking. If you don't see a yellow sign warning you about rips at the start of the steps you're in the wrong spot. Walk down the wooden steps and paddle out.
