Binningup

About

Binningup is a fickle wave. When it is on it is on. Many a traveller will by-pass Binningup and Bunbury with the usual promise of better waves further south. If you can catch Binningup on it will be memorial.

Atmosphere:
The water is unusually cold here due to the outpouring of Leschenault Inlet. There is a longboarder that surfs here on a balsa malibu. He goes off.

Additional Info:
A longboard would be handy. Binningup is at its best when the swell on the open ocean is 3.5m plus. At 3.5m it breaks at about 1.5m at the break. It seems to get better with more swell. Best at about 5m on the open ocean and 3m at the break. - This is rare!!!!
