Carana beach

Edit Spot
About

Good atmosphere in this surf spot. Respect the locals and everything gonna be great.

Atmosphere:
I surfed this surf spot during the SE trade wind. Waves were very sloppy and close very fast.

Additional Info:
Carana in Mahe island is an exposed beach break. Summer offers the best conditions for
surfing. Offshore winds are from the South. The best swell direction is from the North but
during the SouthEast trade wind, you can find some sloppy waves, always good when there is
nothing to surf. Carana beach is not an epic surf spot as well.
The beach break offers both left and right hand waves.
When it's working here, it can get crowded.
