Cheng-Gong
Edit SpotAbout
This place has a warm tropical feel. No local surfers just some curious fishermen, who most likely think you're insane. Take a couple of friends. Any place can be spooky by yourself, when you don't know it. There was a bit of a current close to the rocks. Best to come in on the little sandy beach at the end in the bay.
On its day, this wave must be up there with the best in the world. It only really gets going with big typhoon swell which wraps around the point and comes thundering in as a kick-ass left hander that you can ride all the way from the point down to the harbor. Be careful when you wipe out though as its a razor-coral reef!
Additional Info:
The wave finishes inside a little bay. Here you'll find some space to park your car, the headland doesn't seem to have much room. Still check it out park and find a way out over the rocks otherwise it is a long paddle out from the little bay.Even on a big day, its easy to paddle in as you access from the harbor and out to where its breaking.
