Cuatro Casas
Edit SpotAbout
Not an epic wave but a fun getaway.
Atmosphere:
A great place to camp and chill out. Thieves can be a problem so if you camp try not to be too isolated, camp near some other folks. Ines owns the house there and is very friendly and charges a minimal fee for camping. Remember to pack your trash!!
Additional Info:
A fun and reliable right reef/point break well sheltered form the wind. Excellent camping on the bluffs overlooking the break, popular. If you are there in the winter and a NNW swell is running and not wrapping into the point check the very top where there are some excellent reef peaks on the right swell. Inside of the point is sometimes referred to as Chickens and can offer a small shapely tube when on.

Off of Baja 1. Pass through Colonet and turn off just past the Rio San Telmo. Numerous dirt roads lead in, best to head south of the river though since you don't want to have to cross it. You can also go as far as Camalu and turn off then head north on the dirt road passing some other good spots. 4X4 is not necessary except if it is raining hard.
