Only breaks on neap tides with a huge swell on exposed beaches. Very strong rips, direction depending on tidal movement.

Best for advanced Windsurfing / Kite Surfing, or as a sheltered surfing spot when nearby spots are too large and blown out/

Dangerous rips at the mouth of the bay from the river on an out going tide with speeds of up to 8 knts.
