About

This spot is really good when there is ground swell and no wind. Hardly anyone surfs it as they are afraid of hitting the rocks. But it is well worth it.

Atmosphere:
Surfing Dedis, your wave count will be much higher than sitting in amongst the kooks at Alex Bluff. Look over at Carties and you will see the sets rolling in over there. Get ready for one of those sets to roll in to you in about 2 minutes time. Try going right as well as Left. On the RH dont forget to pull out near the end, just before the rocks. The LH you can ride right into the dumping beach break. Dont be a pussy, tuck into the LH for the dumping beach break/ closeout barrell.

Additional Info:
Drive down into the carpark at Mooloolaba , park and look at to sea behind the rocks. If its working you will see it. Walk down the beach to the sand to the south of the rocks. Jump in and paddle back to the north. Dont be afraid of the rocks, you can make it ( sometimes)
