This is the best spot in this area called Versilia. Versilia is a 20km long beach between the Tirrenean sea and Alpi Apunane, tall and beautiful mountains where Michelangelo took marble to make David and all his sculptures.

Atmosphere:
Locals are friendly but the want to be respected. Be careful not to drop them.
Surfers level here is one of the best all around Italy.

Additional Info:
Both sides of pier have good waves. When the swell is big check out "fuori ponte": you can surf outside in front of the pier, about 300m from the shore.

Access

Hiway A-12 exit at "Versilia" and turn right.
At the third traffic light turn left and go straight for about a mile and you will arrive at the pier of Forte where the there is the spot.
