Edit Spot
About

This is a good surf spot when there is nothing elsewhere.

Additional Info:
Grand Anse in Mahe island is an exposed beach and reef break that has inconsistent surf.
Winter is the best time of the year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the North
Norheast. Waves jsut as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the
ideal swell direction is from the South.
Waves at the beach break both left and right. They close very quickly.
There is a right hand reef break as well.
Rarely crowded here.
Becareful rips are very strong on this surf spot. Rocks are a hazard.
