Best conditions are when wind is blowing from the West or Southwest, make sure to check before you go at https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/glcfs.php?lake=m&ext=wv&type=F&hr=01. Watch out for the cement buoys and there's a sandbar outwards right near the pier. In the summer you might see eight guys here at most, and maybe a few skimboarders.
