Kimmeridge Bay (Bench)

Edit Spot
About

It Rocks ! world class on its day but isn't everywhere. Be careful of the shallow spot which almost sucks dry at lo-tide (the waa-boomf section)

Atmosphere:
Some good local surfers, there may be alot of people in the water but hardly any catching waves when its overhead.

Additional Info:
To get to Kimmeridge bay you need to pay a small toll (£6.00 with a boat on I think) and then you can drive right down to a carpark 1 minute walk from the slipway

No matter how excited you are about the swell - drive slowly through the village - people live here, and no wave is worth a kids life.

There are then 3 main locations at Kimmeridge, the Ledges to the left, the bay in the centre and Broad Bench to the right. </br>The bay is the safest, but beware drifting in too close to the rocks. Bit painful otherwise. Broad Bench and the Ledges generally have larger, though not necessarily cleaner, surf. The ability to roll is crucial at these two locations otherwise you will very quickly get taken by the rips.</br?
