If you fly into Nias, the transfer down from Gunungsitoli Airport is around Rp 400 000 (May 2010 price) for a private car. Once you there it's easy: you only have to paddle out because there is a current from Lagundri to there. In 1 minute from a deepwater chanel you would be in the wave and there is the Lagundri Surf Camp near. Watch out for a tuff paddle back to the line up as there will be a strong current working against you. There are two good places to eat right off the reef and plenty of places to stay. Try Nelly's, you'll love it. Contact asitasumut@gmail.com or Damien on 081260050479 (current as of May 2010) if you would like to organize accommodation in advance.
