About

You need to bring water/food with you. There is a store nearby, but...

Atmosphere:
Even though South Africa has problems with crime, this area is very rural with no crime. I left cameras on the beach while we where with locals around and no problem.

Additional Info:
magic waves ,good. Great point break onto a wide beach.

To get to Mdumbi river mouth is about 50km off the main N2 route in South Africa. You will need local maps as the road turns to gravel after the first 20km. Either side of the Mbumbi river mouth is ok as you paddle across the river mouth from the southern side. The northern side has a backpacker house on the hill overlooking the point
