Montauk point - Turtles

Edit Spot
About

Fickle spot but excellent when on. Can get crowded.

Atmosphere:
Three sections. The first section is usually dominated by locals, you will catch waves but you'll have to hassle for them.
The other two sections are friendlier but can be very crowded.

Additional Info:
Swell direction and tide will have a big effect on this spot. Rip can be very strong and the paddle is long (you better be fit if it's big!).
A good take off spot is right in front of round boulder, stay up on the face of the wave and pump hard to connect to the next section.
