Total Old School Hawaii. Bring a cooler of beer, don't be shy about introducing yourself and the next thing you know, you are sitting around a fire w/ some of the coolest people you've ever met.

This area is very local, but friendly. Talk to people, what looks like a vacant lot may be reserved parking. Great place to surf, as it is out of the way and never crowded.
