Great spot, something different as long as you don't mind changing and loading the car on the sand.
Atmosphere:
Great spot if you like to get out of your car and straight into the surf. Can get crowded in the summer. Lovely sandy bottom, which is how I like my bottoms!
Additional Info:
Car parking on the beach, operated by the National Trust, currently £4.50 per day for parking. Has Tea shop, toilets and shower at east end of beach. Half a mile of beach breaks, park level with the spot that takes your fancy. Don't park lower than the high tide line!
