February-March is the best time to go. When swell is big very good waves. A very good spot is the Propeller(Helix), but be carefull with the low tide, there are remains of a boat and rocks in the shore.
Additional Info:
Necochea and Ququen have 64km of beaches with differents spots to surf. The best breaks are located where the banks are inserted perpendicular tu the cost. There are a lost of break point that depends on differents tides and winds, so, usually there is a place to surf.
