Like so many spots, it is mostly affected by short living lows crossing the mediteranian.
Swells are of short duration.

Atmosphere:
Nice people; good waves; clear water;
It's a very good spot for Lazio, one of the better.
every november there is a surf master since 8 years ago.

Additional Info:
Fast powerfull lefts on sand bottom. Gets good with S/E swells but closes out over 2.5m. Can be crowded.
Park your car in the parking near the beach.

Respect the locals and you will do a good surf...maybe!

Just a few km´s north the road, after gaeta-city. Along costal route 213.

It's easy to find this spot,from Rome you take the SS148(Pontina)thill Terracina,Then you take the "via Flacca" direction Gaeta,after 15Km,you find a place called "Piana di S.Agostino".
At the south of these "Piana",you can find the best spot of the Beach.(Under the South rocks).
