Sheringa

Edit Spot
About

best off taking a 4x4 and also a great fishing spot . The beach can have good banks but watch out for schools of salmon and sharks. Best in small swell this spot works in E – NE winds. This wave is unbelievable and one of the best lefts in SA. It comes out of really deep water and hits the shallow ledge and just barrels its brains out. The lip is super thick for how big the wave is. It's a bodyboarding wave, never seen standups here..

You drive towards Elliston and there is a left turn off to go to Sharinga. You need to get to Sheringa beach, then keep driving past Hotspot, right to the end of the beach (you may need a 4WD). Keep driving along the cliff top until you get to the end, there should be yet another massive beach in front of you, but who cares about that, just look at the bottom of the cliff face and you should see an epic left..
