St Michaels
Edit SpotAbout
Really nice place, 'cause even if you want to avoid the gnarly point/reef you can have fun on the beach break. I surfed here with a pod of dolphins playing in the water around us. Despite this welcome presence, goes to prove that the shark nets only 'reduce the chances' of sharks getting in, and are not total barriers.....
Atmosphere:
Friendly and fun, but the usual rules apply, respect the locals (who rip) and you'll have a great time
Additional Info:
This break can really go off with an intmidating take-off in front of the rocks, then a high speed run into the bay, finishing as a 'standard' beach break. On smaller days the inside is a reform without connection to the point/reef
