Strathy bay

u will very rarely come across another surfer. its sheltered from w/nw winds so go 2 strathy if everywhere else is blown out. Watch out for seals.
Additional Info:
surf on the far right of the beach as there is a nice left hander. The western corner is wind protected (w/nw) and sandbanks are in good shape due to rivermouth.

drive about 20 miles west of thurso untill u get 2 strathy then there is a turn off just as u get into strathy u will know if ur on the right road if u cross a catle grid then get onto a newly tarred road. Parking at the graveyard.
