The village of Sulima is located at the mouth of the river Moa in the Pujehun district of Sierra Leone. About 9 1/2 drive from Freetown - in the dry season vi Kenema and Zimmi. Right beside the Liberian border. As a consequence of being a porous border town with troublesome neighbours, the villagers are suspicious of visitors. Be sure to talk to all the right people before hitting the beach: Chief, District Chief, Police and Navy officials. Maybe even say hello to Priest and Imam (Christian and Muslim village). Once everyone is happy, stay at the Chiefs guest house - only 2 in town anyway.
