If there’s no hurricane beginners should go there, when there is a hurricane the tides can get hazardous.

Laid back, nothing ever goes on at the island.

The cops are ticket happy and give tickets for surfing too close to the pier and parking tickets. One surf shop on the main st. They don’t like tourist that is why parking is hard to find so watch out if you don’t want a $50 ticket. The pier is the best spot most of the time. It’s a small island drive up an down it in 10 min.

It’s an island with a one way bridge, takes long time to get over it. It is close to the SC border and little river SC. close to Calabash. Go past calabash heading North, follow the signs.
