water tends to remain colder than other areas for some reason even in summer. picks up all swells and can get good peaks/barrels occasionally. holds crowds pretty well.
Atmosphere:
usually mellow. nice long clean beach. a bit picturesque.

nice parking lot with showers and restaurant right at beach. rentals etc...
