About

Gutless, powerless wave, but closest thing to Seattle.

Atmosphere:
Lots of new surfers; daytrippers from Seattle, new board for Christmasers, etc. surf shop nearby. parking lot chaos on weekends. choke crowded often.

Additional Info:
Incoming tides are a hassle here as the current can be so strong that you can barely get out. Big tidal changes. Westport is next to a harbor with a nice fast barrelling left called 'The Cove' on the other side of the breakwater.
