Manasquan Inlet
Edit SpotAbout
Definately give it a shot if you live in New jersey but it's not worth travelling cross-country for.
Atmosphere:
There is some localism, but treat the people in the water with respect & you'll do fine, and in the summer you can't surf from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm (bennies)
Additional Info:
Manasquan is a local classic and therefore it gets really crowded. Come in the winter during the work-week and you should be ok unless its epic. There is also a left that peels into a hole next to the jetty. Its a lot mellower than the right but revies a short, fast bowl.
It's a public beach but it costs /day for a beach badge.
